How to Use Travelreport.ai to Plan a Safer Summer Trip

Summer is peak travel season: busy airports, packed attractions, heat, and more things that can go sideways. We built Travelreport.ai so you don't have to spend your evenings piecing together weather, safety, transit, and "what's on" from a dozen sites. You tell us where and when, and we build a custom report for that exact trip. Here's how it works and how to get the most out of it.

What a Travel Report is

A Travel Report is a research pack for one destination and one set of dates, delivered as a PDF by email so you can read it offline, print it, or share it with the people you're traveling with. It's built for your dates, not a generic guide, and every place we mention comes with a Google Maps link.

Each full report covers 14 sections:

  • General area info and a brief history
  • Currency and exchange
  • Weather for your dates
  • Public transportation
  • Health report and pharmacy locations
  • Air quality and water quality
  • Crime and safety
  • Embassy locations
  • Events during your trip
  • Top 10 things to do
  • Local food and where to eat

How to use it, step by step

1. Tell us your trip

Enter your destination (any city or region works) and your arrival and departure dates. It takes about 20 seconds. Dates matter: they're how we pick up the weather window, daylight, and events happening while you're there.

2. See your free preview

Add your email and your free preview opens right away, with no card needed. It shows an overview of the destination, the weather for your dates, and top sights, so you can see the kind of research you'll get before you pay anything.

3. Unlock the full report

If it's useful, unlock the full report and we'll email you the PDF with all 14 sections. If you're planning several trips, report packs bring the per-report cost down; current options are on the pricing section of the homepage.

4. Use it before and during the trip

  • Before you go: use the weather and events sections to pack and plan which days to do outdoor activities, and check the health and entry notes against official sources.
  • On the trip: keep the PDF on your phone. The Google Maps links take you straight to pharmacies, the embassy, sights, and restaurants, even when you don't know the local street names.
  • Share it: send it to your travel companions or the person at home who's keeping an eye on your itinerary.

Summer safety tips the report helps with

  • Heat: check the typical highs for your dates and plan big outdoor sights for the morning or evening. Drink plenty of water and use strong sunscreen.
  • Air and water quality: wildfire smoke, smog, or beach water quality can affect summer plans in some places. The air and water quality sections flag what to watch.
  • Crowds and pickpockets: summer crowds are prime territory for petty theft. The crime and safety section notes common issues so you know what to look out for.
  • Health: know where the nearest pharmacy is before you need it, and carry any prescriptions in their original containers.
  • Events: festivals and holidays can be the highlight of a trip, or the reason everything is booked. The events section shows what's on during your dates.

How the reports are made

We use AI-assisted research grounded in Google Search and Google Maps, organized around your dates. Weather is based on historical patterns for your dates, not a live forecast. Reports are for planning purposes, so always confirm entry, visa, health, and safety requirements with official sources before you travel.
